Dedicated to the memory of Pat
Mum, you were just a girl,
so many years ago.
You had your loves and had your dreams,
You watched us come and go.
You watched us make the same mistakes,
That you had made before,
But that just made you hold us tight,
And love us all the more.
But we remember now in love,
Your life from start to end,
And were just glad we had you,
As a mum and as a friend.

Thoughts
I will always remember the beautiful picture of Aunty Pat that hung above Nana Butcher’s chair in the front room. You were such a smiley Aunty and I loved our emails - you always made me laugh. I’m going to miss you so much but have some wonderful memories. Love you 🩷
